How does the worm examination for alpacas and llamas work?

With an account, you can easily track your animals and tests.

On the container you received, there is a label.

Please fill in your email address, the date of dung collection, and the name and age of your alpaca or llama.

Address label

Before you continue: place the enclosed return label over the address label on the front of the seal bag.

It is easiest to do this before you fill the bag with the dung sample.

Bag

Inside the container is a bag. Use this bag to collect fresh dung. Place the bag over your hand so that the dung ends up inside the bag. Close the bag tightly, but do not tie a knot in it.

 

Closing the bag

Put the bag filled with dung back into the container and close the container tightly.

If the container does not close, it means it is too full.

Return bag

Place the container in the return bag and press the sealing strip firmly closed.

If you ordered with postage included, you can simply drop the return envelope in the mailbox. If you ordered without postage, you will need to add stamps yourself before sending it back.

Result

You will receive the result in your mailbox within 24 hours after the laboratory has received the dung sample.

The result can also be easily viewed on the account page of our website!
