This manure analysis kit contains everything you need to collect a sample and send it in.

The sample is examined for the presence of eggs from red strongyles, roundworms, tapeworms, pinworms, and foal worms. We also check for sand in the manure. Along with the results, we will provide you with tailored treatment advice for your horse or donkey.

The price you pay includes shipping costs, analysis of the sample, and a personal treatment recommendation.

  • Manure analysis is carried out using the sedimentation-flotation technique.
  • Eggs of tapeworms, pinworms, and roundworms are not always detectable in a standard manure analysis. We do check for them and occasionally detect an infection. However, a negative result does not guarantee that your horse or donkey is free from infection. Additional tests are required for certainty and can be ordered in our webshop.
  • This test does not detect lungworms or liver fluke. Additional tests for these are available in our webshop.
  • Collect the sample at least one month after the last deworming.
