This manure analysis kit contains everything you need to collect and send a sample. We examine your horse’s manure for red strongyles, roundworms, tapeworms, pinworms, foal worms, sand, and lungworms. Based on the results, you will receive tailored treatment advice.
The manure sample is examined for the presence of eggs from red strongyles, roundworms, tapeworms, pinworms, and foal worms. We also check for sand in the manure. To detect lungworms, the laboratory performs additional testing. Diagnosis can be made based on clinical symptoms, previous grazing history, and the detection of larvae. The laboratory uses the Baermann method. Along with the results, you will receive an appropriate treatment recommendation for your horse.
The price you pay includes shipping costs, analysis of the manure sample, and a personal treatment recommendation.
